This 1300+ years old shrine is located in the city of Kyoto, Japan’s historical capital for over thousand years. I have visited this place 8 years ago and i couldn’t finish my trek to the top due to extreme cold weather. This time i have done it successfully. As usual the mountain offers colourful views and the cold weather makes it more pleasant to trek. Unlike last time, now there are plenty of vending machines all the way to top. Several shops on the way. So it did not looked so hard this time.
